What Curry Cares is
Curry Cares is our formal community-stewardship platform — it is how we intentionally support local organizations, events, and causes that:

- Create opportunity for youth and emerging leaders
- Honor and support veterans, service-members, and those who serve
- Keep our region vibrant, inclusive, and resilient
Under the Curry Cares banner, employees and the company collectively partner in philanthropic, volunteer and sponsorship efforts. It’s a way of putting our company values into action — beyond simply delivering construction work, we seek to leave a legacy of positive impact in Central Illinois.
Highlights from past initiatives
Through the Curry Cares program, our team has proudly supported a wide range of local causes and community events over the years. We’ve partnered with organizations such as the Mattoon Fire Department’s Operation Sleigh Ride – Christmas for Kids fundraiser to help ensure children in need experience the joy of the holidays.
Our commitment to service members and their families has been reflected through sponsorships of events like the annual Sullivan Sons of the American Legion Golf Outing benefiting various military and veteran organizations each year. We’ve also continued our long-standing support of the Coles County Habitat for Humanity Habitaste fundraiser, helping provide safe, affordable housing in our community.
Additionally, Curry Cares has contributed to youth development by supporting programs like the ClassE entrepreneurial initiative at Charleston High School and the CEO program and has participated in community-wide efforts such as the Coles County Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign. Each of these activities reflects our ongoing dedication to giving back, strengthening local connections, and making a lasting, positive impact across Central Illinois.

- The Curry Cares team identifies partnership opportunities — sponsorships, events, volunteer efforts — aligning with our core community-focus areas.

- We provide company sponsorship or resources, and employees may participate in event staffing, fundraising, promotion, or hands-on volunteering.
- We recap and celebrate the engagements (as you see in the August and September summaries) and plan for future opportunities.
