Satellite Treatment Facility

Description

Curry constructed a new wastewater treatment facility near Riley Creek on North 6th Street (CR600E). The facility will treat stormwater that overflows from the combined sewer system before it reaches Riley Creek and the environment. Treatment included screening, settling, chlorination, and de-chlorination. This project was intended to protect the water quality in Riley Creek, which is a tributary to Kickapoo Creek and the Embarrass River.
